Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and assembling industrial paint, sealant, and lubrication equipment and must be mechanically minded. The position requires frequent overnight and extended travel (up to 50%) to customer sites.

Responsibilities
- Provide repair service on new and used equipment like pumps and sprayers.
- Determine estimates for repair of equipment and be able to convey if repair or replacement may be warranted depending on the situation.
- Order needed repair/replacement parts.
- Create work order and pick ticket for needed repair. Ensure all paperwork is thorough and organized.
- Perform service calls, as needed, which may require travel.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers in person and on the phone.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in a mechanical field or related field is preferred.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate basic information in a professional, polite and courteous manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
This is a 40 hour/week job with occasional overtime. Required tools for the job will be provided and equipment. Specific training will be provided as well and continuing education. This includes offsite training involving travel.
