Job Duties:
- Provide guidance, education, supervision and direct support to assist individuals in maintaining their physical and emotional health while living safely in the community
- Assist individuals in developing their adult daily living skills and allocating necessary resources for successful independent living
- Model and teach skills for the development of positive relationships with peers and providers, as well as to provide guidance in advocating for individuals’ personal needs
- Advocate for and support individuals in identifying and accessing the full range of community based supports and resources available in the area (educational, vocational, recreational, religious, and social)
- Administer medication and educate individuals on medication management per Level I Medication Aide regulations
- Monitor individuals’ physical and emotional well-being and provide detailed documentation of daily activity, behavioral data, medical logs and other required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Preferred Certifications:
- Level I Medication Aide
- CPR/First Aid
**Starting rate of pay depends on shift hired for and previous experience**
- $15.00/hr- sleep shift overnights
- $17.00/hr- no experience day/evening shifts
- $18.00/hr- 1 year experience day/evening shifts
- $19.00/hr- 2+ years experience day/evening shifts
***$500.00 sign-on bonus after a 90 day probationary period!***
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
