Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology
Oncology is a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing exceptional care for Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology patients.
- As an RN on this unit, some of the services you will provide are as follows: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy drug administration (Certification required after 6-months of hire.)
- Pre/Post-Surgical Care· Hospice and Palliative Care
- Sickle Cell Management
Job Summary
Provides safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process. Applies professional standards in ethics, collaboration, leadership, and evidence-based practice. Uses clinical knowledge and skills to meet the needs of their specific unit.
Education
- Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
