Overview
The sleep Center of Northwest Georgia is seeking a compassionate, motivated, new graduate to fill a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) position within our practice.
This position is a supportive environment with structed training and mentorship.
The selected candidate will work closely with experienced physician and clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiological evaluations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
- Administer injections, IV infusions, suturing, and perform procedures like spinal taps or catheterizations with precision and sterile technique.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Provide telehealth consultations and triage services to ensure timely access to care for diverse patient populations.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, medical imaging, and specimen processing techniques.
- Implement medication administration protocols, including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers for aesthetic procedures when applicable.
- Engage in case management activities such as discharge planning, utilization review, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with certification to practice independently or under supervision.
