You will train staff to support individuals in learning new skills - cooking, shopping, banking, etc. and become active members the community. You will develop, coordinate and manage the program, personnel and financial resources necessary for operations of multiple residential support programs within Hartwood Foundation. You'll also learn about learn ensure assure program compliance with applicable regulations and laws (including Dept. of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services as wells as the Department of Medical Assistance Services and Centers of Medicare and Medicaid). And you will help assure the individuals we support receive the highest quality of care possible while enjoying fun and meaningful lives.
Some of your job duties and responsibility includes
- Conducting personnel activities associated with the direct supervision of staff including monitoring of performance, evaluations, administration of disciplinary action, approval of timesheets and leave requests, and assurance of required training of staff.
- Developing agendas and assure team meetings are conducted as required.
- Serving as an active member of the agency management team to assist with the identification of agency resources and needs.
- Assuring proper use of agency equipment, maintaining facility properly supplied with necessary resources for operations and compliance with health, fire and OSHA, and other safety regulations.
- Monitoring accuracy of financial records and maintaining expenditure within agency budgetary guidelines.
- Monitoring and assuring implementation, review and revision of service recipients service plans on a routine basis.
- Monitoring administration and supply of medications of service recipients.
- Assuring service recipients the opportunity to be integrated in and to enjoy full access to the greater community.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited College/University with emphasis in Psychology, Sociology or other Health Services field course.
- 3 years related experience with 1 year being supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of basic strategies for planning, implementing and evaluating supports of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).
- Ability to plan, organize and carry out complex tasks given verbal and/or written function instructions and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Most Importantly: a desire and drive to better the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
