Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, scalp treatments, and customized looks to enhance client appearance
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly to ensure a safe environment
- Utilize salon software like Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline operations
- Engage with clients through effective communication about their desired looks and recommend suitable products or services for retail sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and processing payments with retail math accuracy
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and uphold high service standards
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or hairstylist license with comprehensive knowledge of salon practices and sanitation procedures
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair care, coloring, styling, and grooming techniques
- Strong understanding of color theory, hair care products, and the latest trends in hair styling application
- Ability to specialize in at least 2 areas of cosmetology
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation and building lasting relationships through exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling products related to hair care and beauty needs

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
