As a Permanent CNC Machinist (Lead Man), you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of our manufacturing operations, playing a pivotal role in the production of precision parts. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC Machinist who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality of our products through precision measurement. Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate 4 5 axis CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and production specifications.
2. Lead and supervise a team of machinists, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
3. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
4. Interpret technical blueprints and schematics accurately to set up CNC machines.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes.
6. Train and mentor junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
8. Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine operation times and product quantities.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in operating 4 5 axis CNC machines and setting up CNC machines.
3. Extensive experience in producing and inspecting precision parts.
4. Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
5. Excellent knowledge of precision measurement techniques and tools.
6. Proven ability to lead and supervise a team, with strong communication and leadership skills.
7. High level of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
