Carpenter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of residential construction, can work independently, and consistently produces high-quality craftsmanship.
Carpenter Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as framing, drywall, cabinets, doors, and trim
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Perform repairs and renovations as needed
- Maintain tools and ensure job site cleanliness
- Follow all safety guidelines and building codes
Carpenter Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Carpenter Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in finish carpentry or framing (or both)
- Ability to work independently and lead small crews
- Basic knowledge of other trades (drywall, painting, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $48.00 per hour
