Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. This position offers flexibility, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a caseload over time. Initial hours may be limited, with opportunities for growth based on clinician availability and client needs.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, creative, and eager to continue developing their clinical skills within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and written reports
- Provide evidence-based, relationship-focused speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with occupational therapists through consultation and co-treatment opportunities
- Participate in caregiver coaching and consultation sessions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and patient records
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) as opportunities arise (in-person and/or virtual)
- Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to family-centered, strengths-based care
- Willingness to learn, grow, and receive mentorship
Preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations
- Experience supervising SLPAs
- Knowledge of AAC assessment and intervention
- Familiarity with DIRFloortime®, Sensory Integration, Gestalt Language Processing, or neurodiversity-affirming practices
