Job Title: Patient Care Tech.

Summary/Objective
The PCT is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care services under the general direction of the Clinic Coordinator and Medical Director.
Greets patients, rooms patients, takes vitals and documents pertinent information about the reason for the visit. Collects information to ensure quality measures are met and performs a medication reconciliation at every visit.
Communicates with patients in person and over the phone to ensure that their requests are documented and transferred to the appropriate clinic staff, billing staff or administrative staff to handle.
Experience/Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge of medical terminology, clerical skills & basic data entry skills preferred.

Possesses a service orientation.

Able to take vital signs
Licenses/Certifications

BLS certification

Passes EKG testing yearly
