Position Summary
USA PARK is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily airport parking operations. This role supports the General Manager in supervising staff, maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, and helping manage the day-to-day activities of the parking facility and shuttle services.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a customer-focused environment and can effectively manage both people and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily management of parking lot and shuttle operations
- Supervise and support frontline employees, drivers, and dispatchers
- Help recruit, train, coach, and schedule staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
- Assist with cash handling, reporting, and shift documentation
- Coordinate staffing needs and maintain proper coverage during peak travel periods
- Support enforcement of company policies and procedures
- Help manage operational issues quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with management to improve processes and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience in parking, transportation, hospitality, retail, or customer service industries is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
- Basic computer and reporting skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
