Three Rivers Treatment Center is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead all aspects of our revenue cycle operations. This executive leadership role is responsible for optimizing financial performance, maximizing reimbursement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating an exceptional patient financial experience.

As the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, you will provide strategic oversight of the entire revenue cycle, including:
Patient Registration
Insurance Verification
Prior Authorizations
Medical Coding
Charge Capture
Claims Submission
Payment Posting
Accounts Receivable
Denial Management
Collections
Credit Balance Resolution
Develop and implement strategies to improve reimbursement and cash flow.
Monitor key performance indicators including Days in A/R, denial rates, clean claim rates, and collections.
Ensure timely and accurate billing to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and managed care organizations.
Analyze reimbursement trends and recommend operational improvements.
Collaborate with Finance, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Information Technology, Admissions, Utilization Review, and Health Information Management.
Present revenue cycle performance and financial reports to executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicaid, commercial payer regulations, OIG guidance, and applicable federal and state billing requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Information Management, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing revenue cycle operations.
Demonstrated experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care, and self-pay billing.
Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, payer regulations, coding principles, and revenue cycle best practices.
Preferred
Master's degree.
Professional certifications such as CRCR, CHFP, CPB, CPC, CCS, or HFMA.
Experience billing for behavioral health, mental health providers, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities, or other behavioral healthcare organizations is highly preferred.
Experience with behavioral health reimbursement, managed care authorizations, mental health payer requirements, and residential treatment billing is a significant plus.
