American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong neuro experience for a Main OR position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital.

Main OR setting at a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
-
Surgical specialties include general surgery, ortho, neuro, ENT, vascular, plastics, GYN, urology, and robotics
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM)

On-call is required; details will be discussed with the manager during the phone interview

Weekend requirements will be discussed with the manager during the phone interview

Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
-
Charting performed in Epic
-
Ceil blue scrubs required
-
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Minimum of 18 months of OR scrub experience required; 2 years preferred
-
Strong neuro experience is required
-
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
-
NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred

License required if applicable

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Candidates must be nicotine-free — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine is required

Scrub and assist across a broad range of surgical specialties in a high-volume Main OR environment

Orientation includes time-sensitive onboarding modules that must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation

All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
