Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Thierry Trucking. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in truck driving will be vital to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, stepdeck trailers
- Safely load and unload cargo according to company procedures.
- Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and receipts.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required
- Ability to operate flatbed trucks and other specialized vehicles is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
