Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring cardiac catheterization experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital environment
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures for adult patients
Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Assignment length of 13 weeks

Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization required
Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring required
Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Charting system experience required (any EMR)
2 references required from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director for the unit at time of consideration

Provide diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization care including monitoring of procedural sedation and dysrhythmia management
EKG and pharmacology testing required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each and no remediation for retesting
Required orientation modules must be completed prior to start and annually thereafter
Strict do-not-call-in policy in effect at this facility

Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and will not be reviewed if submitted afterward
Previous permanent or per diem staff must wait 1 year from their last end date before returning to this facility
