Arizona Specialty Demolition is looking for a detail-driven Project Coordinator to support our demolition projects from award through close-out. This role owns the administrative backbone of each job — permitting, project set-up, scheduling updates, badging, lodging, job files, and client start-up communication. You'll be the person the team relies on to keep every project moving accurately and on time.
This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in precision, thrives on staying organized across multiple moving projects, and wants to build real expertise in construction permitting and project administration.
What You'll Do
Permitting & Compliance
- Identify and obtain permits and licenses including Blue Stake (Arizona 811), NESHAP filings, demolition permits, dust control permits, water hydrant permits, and haul permits
- Notify the team once permits are filed, with the anticipated ready date
- Track permit status weekly so the team always has an accurate, up-to-date reference
- Follow through on permit close-outs and inspections through project completion
- Become the go-to internal resource for permit questions and jurisdiction requirements
Project Set-Up & Tracking
- Onboard new projects into Procore and ASD's project file system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
- Maintain the new-job check-in tracker for every awarded project
- Keep the project schedule updated daily for team-wide visibility
- Maintain organized job files from project kickoff through completion
Crew Support & Logistics
- Coordinate background checks and site badging for crew members on secured projects
- Arrange travel and lodging for out-of-town projects within budget
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Project Managers and superintendents
Client Communication
- Send project start-up emails to general contractors once a job is ready to begin
- Provide permit and job-status updates to general contractors and municipalities
- Deliver clear, accurate, professional communication — you'll be a direct reflection of ASD to our clients
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in a construction office setting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Comfortable navigating online permitting and client platforms
- Working knowledge of construction field operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- A collaborative team player willing to jump in where needed
Arizona Specialty Demolition is built on Transparency, Integrity, Safety, and Trust. If you're organized, dependable, and ready to be a key part of a growing demolition company, we'd love to hear from you.
