Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Traveling Orthodontic Assistant, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference across multiple locations! In this energetic role, you’ll provide top-tier chairside assistance and patient care in orthodontic dentistry setting.
Duties
- Assist orthodontists and dental practitioners during procedures such as braces adjustments, appliance placements, and other chairside tasks using aseptic techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging, including 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Manage patient records efficiently within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Epic, documenting treatment details accurately.
- Collaborate seamlessly with dental receptionists and other team members to schedule appointments, update medical documentation, and ensure smooth clinic operations across all locations. Experience
- Proficiency in dental assisting tools such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging equipment; experience with EMR system like Dentrix Ascend.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
Pay is based on experience
Prior general dentistry is required
This is a traveling position, travel is reimbursed
