Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional residential and commercial cleaning services, ensuring all spaces meet high standards of sanitation and appearance. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall satisfaction of our clients. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during cleaning tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Operate janitorial and cleaning equipment properly, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents during outdoor work or indoor cleaning activities.
- Assist with housekeeping management duties as needed to support team coordination and workflow.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, including custodial or janitorial roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning detergents.
- Experience with floor cleaning techniques such as polishing, buffing, or deep carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments related to property upkeep is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently over extended periods.
- Previous experience managing or supporting housekeeping teams is advantageous but not required.
