Fun and Energetic Nanny Needed For Two Sweet little boys in Cincinnati, OH (45227)
A warm, professional family of four relocating to Terrace Park or the Mariemont neighborhood is seeking an energetic full-time nanny for their 4.5-year-old son and 2-year-old son. The family is currently based in Washington Township (45153) and hopes the relocation process will be completed within the next few months.Their oldest son is smart, curious, and observant. He will attend preschool three days a week, and the nanny will be responsible for picking him up at 11:30 a.m. two or three times a week. The oldest son will spend only one full day per week with the nanny and another full day per week with his grandparents. Their adorable two year-old is energetic and curious. He loves to help with tasks around the house, to investigate the outdoors and to interact with animals. This position is more focused on the two year-old as the 4.5-year-old only needs coverage in the afternoons and one full-day a week during the school year. This role is ideal for a candidate who feels comfortable caring for children ages two to six and happy to spend much of the day at home to institute a ROUTINE and structure. An energetic candidate who appreciates art and music, and who values education and is proactive at coming up with fun, educational activities will fit right in. This individual’s responsibilities will include all aspects of child-related tasks. One parent works hybrid from the home office and is willing to offer an interruption free environment for the nanny to practice and be engaged with their children. This family is looking for a candidate who can commit long term, preferably for the next three to five years. A candidate who understands the principles of Montessori education and has a natural connection to children will be a great fit for this position.
Nanny’s responsibilities include: Planning fun and educational activities for children, Partnering with parents to support their development, growth, and discipline, Playing outside, Pickup and drop off, Documenting their daily activities, including meals, diapers, and naps, Ensuring their safety at all times, Feeding, diapering, bathing, and following an age-appropriate nap schedule, Providing one-on-one care and fostering a trusting, emotional bond with children, Cleaning up after children, including washing cups, eating utensils, and toys, Keeping the children's play areas cleaned and tidy, Enforcing safe seatbelt use and public behavior, participating in pick up and/or drop off,Teaching and modeling appropriate social behaviors, children’s meal prepand children's Laundry (clothes and beddings). This family does not need help with organizing the household or adult laundry and adult meal prep.
REQUIREMENTS:At least 1 year of paid childcare experience, Tdap Vaccination, CPR, andFirst Aid certification, Non-smoker (does not use tobacco of any kind including e-cigarettes). Authorized to work in the U.S, Reliabletransportation, Valid driver’s license, Car insurance, Must have a cleanbackground check. Must be honest, responsible, proactive, reliable andpunctual. Must have high attention to details, positive attitude and strong morals and character and must respect family values, Must have a good understanding of early childhood development, and what is developmentally appropriate for young children.
QUALIFICATIONS:Candidates with Teaching /Nanny experience or who studied EarlyChildhood Education are strongly encouraged to apply! Monday through Friday : 09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.
BENEFITS: 10 days of PTO/Sick days per year.
8 national holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve,Christmas Day.
Insurance Stipend: $200/month
Mileage Reimbursement: IRS mileage rate which is currently $0.76/mile.
