Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy highly preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and educational teams
- Comfortable managing a flexible schedule and traveling between multiple school sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Clear background check and all state-required clearances completed prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students across various school locations in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
- Conduct evaluations, provide direct and consultative therapy, and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop individualized treatment strategies to support students’ physical, functional, and educational progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for students
- Educate staff and families on therapy goals, adaptive equipment use, and interventions as needed
