Hardhat is hiring an experienced Construction Scheduler for a large commercial construction project in Chandler, AZ. Pay is up to $40/hour.
Potential for Per diem available.
Duties, not limited to the following:
- Create and maintain the P6 schedule (WBS, logic, calendars, baselines).
- Update progress monthly/weekly; validate with discipline leads.
- Run critical path and near-critical analysis; propose recovery plans.
- Resource/cost load as needed; align with budgets and forecasts.
- Integrate with risk, change control, and cost (EVM) processes.
- Produce look-aheads (2–6 weeks), dashboards, S-curves, and reports.
- Do variance/what-if analysis and Time Impact Analyses (claims).
- Enforce data standards, coding, and version control.
- Facilitate planning sessions and coordinate ENG/PROC/CONST/COM.
- Identify schedule risks/constraints and recommend mitigations.
Experience
- 3–5 years scheduling/planning on construction or EPC projects.
- Expert user of Oracle Primavera P6 (Professional/EPPM).
- PMP certified (or able to obtain within 6 months). PMI-SP/AACE PSP is a plus.
- Working knowledge of EVM and schedule risk basics.
- Clear communicator; able to challenge assumptions and drive outcomes.
Skills and Tools
- Skills: logic development, critical path control, resource leveling, reporting.
- Tools: Primavera P6; Excel, MS Project (secondary).
- Key Deliverables/KPIs
- Approved baseline on time; schedule quality at gate reviews.
- SPI ≥ 0.95 and improving forecast accuracy.
