Summary
We are seeking a part time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our accounts payable processes, contributing directly to Sawgrass' mission of delivering exceptional products.
Work Hours & Location
Four hours per day (M-F), either 8:00 - 12:00 or 9:00 - 1:00. Potential for hybrid work after training period.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing.
- Utilize financial software for data entry and reporting.
- Assist with order / RMA entry.
- Back up for sales invoicing / credit card processing.
- Back up for eCommerce sales invoice entry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Workday).
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective communication skills for vendor interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with payroll management is a plus.
