- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care or emergency nursing setting
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and clinical priorities
- Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided
- Provide timely, skilled nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
- Respond confidently to urgent and emergent clinical situations
- Float as needed within the designated emergency care environment
- Maintain compliance with department protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
- Deliver compassionate care while supporting patients and families during high-stress situations
