Immigration Law Firm – Detained & Removal Defense Focus
Full-Time | In-Office Position
We are seeking a highly experienced, professional, and confident phone receptionist to join our fast-growing immigration law firm.
This is NOT an entry-level role. I am looking for someone who can handle a high-volume legal environment with maturity, structure, and strong communication skills.
Our firm focuses heavily on detained immigration cases (ICE / EOIR) and handles urgent, time-sensitive matters daily.
Duties
- Answer high-volume inbound calls (50–100+ daily)
- Screen and route calls appropriately
- Provide basic case status updates (when authorized)
- Schedule consultations
- Take detailed and accurate call notes
- Manage client follow-ups
- Maintain professionalism with distressed or emotional callers
- Work closely with attorneys and paralegals
- Explain and Offer legal services
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a receptionist in a law firm
- Strong phone presence and confident communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English (REQUIRED)
- Ability to handle pressure and urgent situations
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Professional tone and appearance
- Stable work history (no frequent job hopping)

- Takes ownership and responsibility
