Occupational Therapists at Boyer Children's Clinic provide family-centered therapy services to infants and young children with a wide range of developmental needs, including autism, sensory processing differences, neuromuscular conditions, feeding challenges, and developmental delays. Therapists partner closely with caregivers to build strategies that support each child’s development and daily participation.
This role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the organization and coordinating with community providers to ensure comprehensive care. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including client homes, community locations, and via telehealth.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and provide treatment for children in natural environments and via telehealth
- Collaborate with caregivers to build practical strategies that support development and daily skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records, including IFSP-related documentation
- Coordinate care with other therapists, educators, medical providers, and community partners
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and agency trainings
- Support Medicaid-related care coordination and administrative requirements
- Contribute to staff education and professional development through trainings and sharing best practices
