What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while serving as an important member of our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Coordinate and manage nursing care assignments
- Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other nursing staff
- Provide clinical leadership during assigned shifts and serve as the nurse in charge when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
- Assist with staff orientation, education, and ongoing development
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including fire and medical alert systems
- Perform clinical and laboratory procedures within the scope of practice
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania nursing standards and Pennswood Village policies
