ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a highly regarded professional services firm, is conducting a confidential search for an exceptional Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to support their Chief Executive Officer. This is a rare opportunity to serve as the right hand to a dynamic, high-performing executive in a firm known for its collaborative culture and operational excellence.
This dual-function role blends high-level strategic support with hands-on executive and personal assistance. The ideal candidate brings polished professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment — all while maintaining absolute discretion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive & Strategic Support
- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, managing priorities, communications, and projects across the organization
- Prepare briefings, presentations, board materials, and executive-level correspondence
- Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO; capture action items and drive follow-through across internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and protect the CEO’s time by overseeing a complex, high-volume calendar with competing demands
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and senior leadership, clients, and external partners
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and firm-wide priorities as directed
Travel & Logistics
- Coordinate comprehensive domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries
- Anticipate and resolve travel disruptions in real time with composure and resourcefulness
- Prepare detailed travel packs and briefing documents for all trips
Personal Assistant Duties
- Manage select personal scheduling, appointments, and lifestyle logistics on behalf of the CEO
- Handle confidential personal matters with professionalism and complete discretion
- Coordinate personal vendor relationships and assist with event planning as needed
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 5–10+ years of executive support experience, with a strong preference for candidates from professional services (consulting, legal, financial services, accounting, staffing, or similar)
- Proven track record supporting C-suite or senior leadership in a high-expectation environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with superior attention to detail and a proactive, anticipatory work style
- High emotional intelligence and professional maturity; able to navigate ambiguity and sensitive situations with tact
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with personal assistant responsibilities in addition to executive-level duties
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $150,000–$180,000+ commensurate with experience
