NICU Registered Nurse – PRN Nights

Hours: 12 hours/week (OT hours available if interested)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN opportunity supporting a Level III NICU.
This is an ongoing contract with flexible scheduling, making it a great option for an experienced NICU RN looking for additional hours while maintaining a consistent weekly commitment.
Schedule
- Minimum of 1 shift per week
- Shifts are pre-booked in advance
- Must provide full monthly availability each month
- Facility may cancel shifts with at least 2 hours' notice
- No on-call requirement
- May be required to float based on scope of practice
Important: Candidates must be able to commit to at least one shift per week. This position may not be a fit for candidates who cannot consistently commit due to another full-time position.
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- 2+ years of RN experience
- At least 1 year of NICU experience
- Level III NICU experience
- BLS
- NRP Advanced
- Travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Skills checklist score of 3.0+
- Universal submittal packet required
Additional Details
- EMR: Epic
- Scrubs: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
- PPE: Fully provided; onsite fit testing available

- On Call: None
- COVID Vaccine: Not required, including boosters. Candidates who have never received a COVID-19 vaccine may be considered.
- Pay Cycle: Sunday–Saturday
Compensation
$1,008/week gross based on 12 hours
- Regular Rate: $72/hr
- Overtime Rate: $108/hr
- No per diem
California License
Candidates must have an active California RN license. If your CA license is expired, it must be renewed.
