Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Childcare Providers to support the care and development of infants and toddlers in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety, and fostering positive growth for children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while working collaboratively with a team of caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and learning sessions
- Support classroom management and behavior guidance strategies to promote positive interactions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including administering basic first aid when necessary
- Assist with feeding and diapering
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in childcare or a similar settings is preferred
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
- Background in early childhood education, classroom management, or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and learning
- Ability to pass background checks as required by licensing standards
