Position Overview
Are you looking for meaningful work with flexibility? TLC Caregivers is seeking compassionate, dedicated Personal Caregivers to join our Milton, FL team. In this role, you'll provide essential support to elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, and families—helping them maintain independence while improving their daily quality of life. Whether you're seeking full-time work, part-time flexibility, or a second job, we have opportunities available for as little as 4 hours per week to 40+ hours weekly.
This is non-medical in-home care—no medical certification required! If you have a genuine passion for helping others and take pride in delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with dining and medication reminders
- Support mobility and ambulation, including assistance with physical therapy exercises
- Assist with essential errands including grocery shopping, transportation to appointments, and community outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' wellbeing and social connection
- Monitor client safety and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors and client families
- Uphold all health and safety standards while respecting client dignity and independence
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional or verified personal caregiving experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care settings (CNA, HHA, or equivalent preferred but not required)
- Compassion First: Genuine passion for helping others, with demonstrated ability to provide supportive, patient-centered care
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related physical duties
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle available for every shift
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness and availability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years old
- Continuous Learning: Eager to develop new skills and improve your caregiving abilities
- Professional Standards: Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and ethical standards in all client interactions
- Bonus Qualifications: Hoyer Lift experience or CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
