Cover the press line for all hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Work on and make permanent improvements to all building, production and maintenance systems.
Complete appropriate documentation and logbooks.
Support and assist all work centers.
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building, production and maintenance equipment.
Assist in setting molds and dies when necessary.
Keep machinery, equipment and plant structure in operating condition.
Maintain and install piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps and all types of controls for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems and steam and air lines.
If assigned second or third shift, complete die changes and project work.
Preventative maintenance, lubrication of various machinery.
Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist in shut down and start-up of the plant according to procedures.
Cover for vacations and illness on the shift and be able to work overtime on short notice.
Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality of products.
