Split- Shift Van Driver/ Toddler Teacher
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, caring, and safety- cautious individual to join our childcare team as a Split- Shift Van driver/ Toddler Teacher. This position could also expand into other ages as a floating position. This position will be responsible for transporting children to and from the childcare center during designated transpiration times. They will also be required to provide a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for toddlers during teaching hours.
SCHEDULE:
6:30-9am
2:30-6pm
(schedule may change, can be discussed during interview)
Van Driver Responsibilities
- Safety transport children to and from the childcare center using the center's designated vehicle.
- Follow applicable transportation, traffic, and childcare safety regulations.
- Conduct required vehicle safety checks before transportation children.
- Maintain accurate attendance and transportation records.
Toddler Teacher Responsbilites:
- Provide a warm, nuturing, and age- appropriate enviornment for toddlers/ other ages.
- Supervise children closely at all times
- Follow daily schedule, curriculum, and classroom routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classrooms.
- Observe and document children's development and communicate concerns appropriately.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
