- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project teams to develop project budgets and schedules
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
- Utilize construction estimating software, such as McCormick and Viewpoint, to prepare estimates
- Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and post-bid negotiations
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documents
```Skills:```
-5 Years Preferred Electrical projects background experience
-Project management experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost calculations
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating project requirements and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with project management principles is a plus
