Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza making and kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning to ensure variety and quality of offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during preparation and service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
- Support the team with food preparation for catering events or special functions
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies or ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant operations, especially in pizza or fine dining settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is beneficial but not required
