Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during evening hours. As an Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our facilities are spotless and well-maintained. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, floors to maintain a pristine appearance
- Disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas to promote hygiene and safety
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to keep the environment tidy
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as window cleaning, dusting, and restroom sanitation
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of custodial procedures
- Ability to handle various cleaning supplies safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus
