- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to coach parents/caregivers effectively and collaborate with Service Coordinators and multidisciplinary therapy teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Treatment & Intervention: Execute individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy plans aligned with each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) outcomes to address fine-motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
- Functional Target Areas: Implement play-based techniques focused on improving fine-motor skills, sensory processing and self-regulation, feeding and self-help/ADL skills (dressing, grooming), visual-motor coordination, and motor planning.
- Family-Centered Coaching: Collaborate closely with families and caregivers in their natural environments (homes, daycares, or community settings) using parent-coaching strategies to integrate functional goals into daily routines.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with Service Coordinators, other treating discipline providers (PT, SLP, SI), and community resources to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Digital Documentation: Accurately complete and submit daily session notes, quarterly progress updates, and annual review summaries in a timely manner using our user-friendly digital documentation app.
