Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Operating Room environment. This contract role calls for specialized clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety in a 10-OR setting. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires on-call availability between four and six shifts per month, as well as some weekend coverage. You’ll play a key part in surgical teams managing complex cardiovascular, orthopedic, and trauma cases.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day and night shifts available
- On-call requirement: 4-6 shifts per month
- Weekend and call shift participation as scheduled
Qualifications:
- Active RN license and perioperative nursing experience
- Completion of PeriOp 101 program
- Proven background in orthopedic and trauma cases
- BLS and other relevant certifications up to date
- Previous Cardiovascular OR experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Comfort working with diverse surgical teams
- Familiarity with standard Operating Room equipment and protocols
- Experience navigating EMR in acute care settings
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver safe, effective nursing care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical technologists for best patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
