The purpose of the Triple A Enrichment Program Support Staff position is to assist the manager, assistant manager, receptionist, group leaders, volunteers, applicants, and other Meridian School stakeholders in ensuring the overall program runs smoothly. Support Staff are expected to perform a variety of duties and be prepared to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

Tasks
- Support Group Leaders with beginning-of-day and end-of-day duties, and ensure duties are completed during staff absences, emergencies, or parent conferences.
- Assist the Manager, Receptionist, and Enrichment Coordinator in preparing for efficient and effective daily operations.
- Ensure all students in group and la carte programs are accounted for at the beginning of after-school programming.
- Serve as a Group Leader or Receptionist when needed due to staff absences.
- Relieve Group Leaders for restroom breaks.
- Assist students of varying abilities in having successful days.
- Hold conversations, plan activities, and maintain an environment that reflects inclusion and equity.
- Assist Group Leaders in managing challenging or dysfunctional groups.
- Reflect with disruptive students to promote positive behavior.
- Assist the Receptionist by calling for student pickup according to the Triple A pickup procedures.
- Obtain materials and make copies for Group Leaders.
- Ensure Group Leaders remain on task and manage their time effectively.
- Serve as the authoritative presence when multiple groups occupy the same space.
- Help ensure the safety and security of Meridian stakeholders and school property.
- Assist la carte leaders and students with transitions and snack times.
- Develop and oversee plans for "Nowhere Alone" days to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Set up physical spaces for daily activities and special events.
- Regularly disinfect desks, seats, lunch tables, supplies, and door handles between groups.
- Ensure all groups have adequate spray sanitizer, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies.
- Complete snack inventory and notify the Manager when utensils, plates, paper towels, or other supplies are running low.
Work Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:00 PM 6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM 6:00 PM
Work hours listed above are required. Staff weekly hours may not exceed 24 hours. Additional hours are not available through Triple A but may be available through other school-day programs.
Compensation
- Starting at $15.00 per hour.
- Compensation is based on education and experience.
