SUMMARY: Program Coordinator for Family/Respect Life (F/RL). Will work as part of a team to support laity, families, and parish leaders to offer effective, Christ-centered family and life ministries in the Syracuse Diocese.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work with the Fam/RL Director to:
- Administer and coordinate programming and other efforts for the Fam/RL Office across the Syracuse Diocese
- Administer, implement, and attend Diocesan Marriage Preparation classes as needed
- Attend Fam/RL programs, projects, events, etc. as needed
- Administer registration process for Fam/RL programming.
- Assist with design, content, and management for Fam/RL Office social media accounts and databases
- Coordinate partnerships to support and maintain pro-life groups in Dio Catholic Schools
- Must be proficient in Microsoft and Google programs
- Coordinate and assist with Chastity and Theology of the Body implementation in Dio schools and parishes
- Serve as a liaison between Fam/RL Office and families, clergy, and others in PCA’s
- Provide Administrative support as needed
- Learn Church Teaching regarding family and life issues
