Part-Time General Dentist — Thursdays and Fridays
College Street Dental is seeking an experienced, efficient, and team-oriented General Dentist to join our busy multi-specialty practice.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a high-volume DSO, group practice, or similarly fast-paced clinical environment. We are looking for a confident clinician who can independently diagnose, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care efficiently while maintaining professionalism and a strong commitment to patient-centered dentistry.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience treating HMO, Medicaid, and PPO patients
- A strong understanding of insurance guidelines, covered benefits, documentation requirements, and authorization processes
- The ability to develop appropriate, ethical, and definitive treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
- Confidence in making independent clinical decisions and clearly communicating recommendations to patients
- A strong understanding of when specialty referral is appropriate
- The ability to collaborate effectively with in-house specialists without routinely referring patients solely for a second opinion
- Proficiency in restorative dentistry, including fillings, crown and bridge preparations, removable prosthodontics, and emergency treatment
- The ability to manage a busy schedule and maintain efficient clinical flow without compromising quality
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct and support the back-office team
- A professional, respectful, and collaborative approach when working with dental assistants, front-office staff, specialists, and patients
- The ability to take ownership of the clinical day and work with the team to improve efficiency, organization, and productivity
Our multi-specialty office includes general dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Appropriate cases may be referred to our in-house specialists when specialty care is clinically indicated.
Our office is fully digital and equipped with CBCT, intraoral scanning, same-day CAD/CAM technology, 3D printing, and an experienced support team.
We are seeking a dependable and clinically confident dentist who can lead the clinical team, make sound treatment decisions, and provide excellent care in a busy and supportive environment.
