Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team at Lifeologie Counseling Hampton Roads. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering compassionate mental health care to clients, helping them navigate their personal challenges and achieve optimal well-being. This position is based in Hampton Roads.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Facilitate family counseling sessions as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing training.
- Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
- Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Residents in Counseling.
- Strong background in psychotherapy and crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience with diverse populations, including children and families.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
