Boulder Adventure Park is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Arcade Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our arcade equipment while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for maximizing game uptime through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inventory management.
While the arcade is the technician's primary responsibility, this position is also a member of the Facilities Department and will assist with general facility maintenance as operational needs require.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair video games, redemption games, crane machines, and other amusement equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance to maximize game uptime and reliability.

Repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components.

Replace defective parts including switches, sensors, joysticks, power supplies, motors, ticket dispensers, coin mechanisms, card readers, monitors, LEDs, wiring, and control boards.

Maintain redemption equipment and ensure proper ticket/card payout functionality.

Calibrate and test games after repairs.
-
Maintain an organized repair shop and work area.

Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
-
Inspect all games for wear, damage, cleanliness, and safety.

Clean and lubricate mechanical assemblies as required.

Document completed maintenance and repairs using MaintainX.

Maintain an organized inventory of replacement parts.
-
Identify needed parts and submit purchase requests.
-
Track inventory usage and maintain adequate stock of commonly used components.
-
Assist with vendor communication and warranty claims when necessary.

Record repairs, diagnostics, downtime, and completed work in MaintainX.

Track recurring failures and recommend permanent corrective actions.

Provide regular updates on game availability and repair priorities.
When arcade priorities allow, assist the Facilities Department with:

Minimum 1 years experience repairing commercial arcade or amusement equipment.

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

Experience using multimeters and diagnostic equipment.

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
