Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Floating Cleaner, you will be responsible for backing up cleaners that either call off or resign abruptly across different locations. THIS FLOATER MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. The job consists of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities. In addition to cleaning, there may also be special projects including setting up church venues for events. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
If performance is strong, this Floater can "graduate" to steady hours at their own location while still keeping the flexibility to work other locations as a backup.
Duties:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Clean and restock restrooms with supplies
- Notify management of any damages or maintenance issues
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE (Weeknights and Weekend afternoons)
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle basic maintenance equipment and tools
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certification in cleaning or housekeeping techniques
- Experience in handling industrial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols for handling hazardous materials
