Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met during their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items.
- Uphold food safety standards by properly handling and storing food items.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding orders, special requests, and any issues that may arise.
- Support banquet events by assisting in food service and setup as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
