Client Relations & Policy Support Specialist – Insurance Agency

In this key role, you'll serve as the go-to person for clients and team members alike—bridging the gap between sales, service, and success. From onboarding new clients to supporting policy renewals and ensuring a seamless customer experience, you'll be at the heart of what we do.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome & Onboard New Clients – Transition new accounts from sales to service with confidence. Send welcome communications, verify policy and contact info.
- Support Retention Efforts – Help maintain strong client relationships through timely service, personalized follow-up, and proactive problem-solving.
- Maintain Accurate Client Data – Enter and manage customer information, policy details, and key contacts in our agency management system.
- Ensure Client Satisfaction – Make regular check-in calls, send surveys, assist with renewals, and track resolution of service issues.
- Spot Sales & Marketing Opportunities – Help identify cross-sell opportunities, manage referral leads, and highlight client success stories that can be shared in marketing campaigns.
- Craft Professional Communication – Draft letters, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets using tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Confidentiality is Key – Handle sensitive client and carrier information with professionalism and discretion.
- Keep Leadership Informed – Submit monthly reports on new and lost business and support internal improvement efforts as needed.
- Deliver Outstanding Insurance Service – Assist clients with personal insurance policies (Auto, Homeowners, Umbrella, etc.), collect premiums, answer questions, and manage claims processes.
- Stay Current on Industry Practices – Understand underwriting guidelines, carrier procedures, and policy coverages to best serve our clients.
- Requote & Cross-Sell – Actively review existing policies for savings or coverage improvement opportunities and recommend additional products based on client needs.
- Be a Team Player – Step in to assist with phones, coverage, or team support when needed. Flexibility and collaboration are essential!
What You Bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of customer service or administrative experience, preferably in insurance or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A can-do attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A desire to grow in the insurance field
- Must obtain a Pennsylvania Insurance License (we’ll help you get there!)
- Willingness to get appointed with required carriers and brokers to write new business

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
