Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Landscape Crew Lead to manage outdoor construction tasks and guide a field team in executing top-tier installations. This position demands a proactive leader who possesses extensive construction expertise, the capacity to optimize team output, and a dedication to both safety and client happiness. Your work will involve building retaining walls, setting up irrigation, performing grading, and completing landscape installs for both new builds and renovation jobs.
Primary Responsibilities:
These tasks include, but are not limited to:

Direct and oversee teams performing landscape construction for commercial and residential clients.

Organize daily site operations to help ensure that every project is finished on time and meets high-quality benchmarks.

Construct and supervise the building of paver systems, retaining walls, irrigation, drainage, and other outdoor features.

Analyze and translate project blueprints, landscape designs, and technical specifications.

Utilize and instruct your team on the proper and safe handling of construction tools and machinery.

Manage site prep, excavation, grading, and the installation of materials to ensure a high-quality finished product.

Evaluate team output while offering mentorship, direction, and necessary training to improve performance.

Facilitate daily safety briefings and ensure all team members adhere to established safety protocols.

Report on project status, material requirements, and site issues to management to keep operations running smoothly.

Keep all vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order and clean condition.

Verify that all completed work aligns with our quality standards to ensure total client satisfaction.
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of professional landscape construction experience.

A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or crew lead capacity.

Proven background in installing irrigation, retaining walls, and landscape features for new projects.

Proficiency in interpreting and executing landscape plans and technical specifications.

Understanding of drainage, excavation, and grading techniques.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

A valid driver's license paired with a clean driving history.

Capacity to perform physical work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and navigate uneven ground throughout the day.

Competency in safely managing hand tools and heavy landscape construction machinery.

Ability to maintain productivity while working outside for long durations in varying climates.
-
Possession of a current Chemical Applicators License.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Compensation:
Starting at $27 to $37 per hour, depending on experience.
