Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prensista Imprenta to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output, and adhering to safety and production standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in printing machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a passion for precision craftsmanship. Duties
- Operate various printing presses, including flexo, stamping, and CNC-based machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
- Set up printing equipment by adjusting machine parameters based on job specifications and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to execute precise printing tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on presses such as Fanuc-controlled systems, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify print accuracy and consistency.
- Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and packaging processes.
- Use hand tools and fabrication techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to machinery or tooling as needed.
Experience
- Proven factory experience working with printing presses or manufacturing machinery in a production environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, CNC programming, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Fanuc systems, CNC programming languages, SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse handling equipment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures, tooling setup, materials handling, fabrication techniques, welding, assembly line processes, and packaging standards.
- Ability to work with hand tools and precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and measurement verification.
