Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled Tier 3 Diesel Mechanic / Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in diesel maintenance and repair. In this role, you will perform everything from routine preventive maintenance to complex diagnostics and repairs. You’ll also support entry-level technicians and contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on diesel trucks and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Use company software for completing repair orders and tracking work
- Communicate effectively with the team and service manager
- Mentor Tier 1 and entry-level technicians
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Stay current with diesel technology and training
Qualifications
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Fleet Experience
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Experience with trash trucks a plus
- Must have your own tools
- CDL is preferred but not required
- Comfortable using computers and diagnostic tools
