The Jet bridge Operator is responsible for ensuring Jet-Bridge is positioned on aircraft for arrivals and remove Jet-Bridge from aircraft for departures. Additionally, responsibilities include:
- Operators need to exercise extreme caution as this is one of the only piece of equipment that touches an aircraft.
- Fifteen minutes prior to arrival/departure the operator needs to be ramp side by the bridge to do pre-arrival/post departure checks.
- The Jet-Bridge Operator needs to ensure that the bridge is stowed correctly in appropriate box, ensure cables are stowed, canopy and auto-level is fully engaged or dis-engaged, and area is cleared of vehicles, objects and members on the ramp prior to movement of Jet-Bridge.
- Operator training takes approximately 4-6 weeks. Upon completion, agents are required to work independently on at least 2 Jet-Bridges.

Job Qualifications
1-2 years Jet Bridge operation experience
Possess/maintain a valid state driver's license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
Must be able to pass SIDA airport and training tests
Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Possess basic computer literacy
