About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled general carpenter pro to join our small apartment complex team. You’ll work side-by-side with the owner to handle everything from full-gut renovations to quick make-readies. Your work helps us transform vacant units into fresh, move-in-ready homes for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Hanging doors: Install interior and exterior doors, ensuring proper alignment and smooth operation.
- Hanging trim: Fit and secure baseboards, window casings, and other finishes
- Hanging cabinets: Mount kitchen or bathroom cabinets, ensuring level placement, secure attachment, and proper functionality.
- Light framing: Handle minor framing tasks like building small walls, repairing existing frames, or supporting structural changes.
- Exterior trim around doors: Install or replace trim around exterior door frames, focusing on weatherproofing and aesthetic appeal.
- Exterior siding: Apply or repair siding materials like wood, or fiber cement, ensuring durability and proper insulation
- Work independently and manage your own workflow
- Keep the jobsite safe, clean, and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with general carpentry
- Ability to work quickly and accurately — from full installs to small patches
- Your own tools and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, dependable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Available for 40 hours per week
Pay: $18–$30/hr depending on experience
